About
Annelie Lindström
The Voice of Nordic Solitude and Beauty
Annelie Lindström was a visionary Swedish artist whose music captured the haunting beauty of the Nordic landscape and the quiet complexities of human emotion. Born in the coastal town of Örnsköldsvik in 1962, Annelie blended traditional Swedish folk melodies with experimental ambient textures, creating a sound that was both timeless and ahead of its time.
Despite her brief career, Annelie's ethereal voice and poetic lyrics have inspired generations of musicians and listeners. Her songs, such as "Vinterljus" and "Skuggdans," reflect themes of solitude, resilience, and the interplay of light and shadow—both in nature and in life.
After stepping away from the public eye in the late 1980s, Annelie's music was rediscovered in 2022, sparking a revival of her work. Today, her timeless artistry continues to resonate, inviting a new audience to connect with the raw beauty and introspection of her music. This website is dedicated to celebrating her legacy and sharing her story with the world.
