press information

Annelie Lindström’s music was rediscovered in 2022 when a trove of her lost demos and live recordings was found in the archives of Aurora Records. Led by producer Johanna Sundqvist, a dedicated team including audio restorer Anders Björnsson and mastering engineer Erik Holmberg has been meticulously restoring these recordings to honor Annelie’s original vision. So far, four tracks have been fully restored and released, showcasing the ethereal beauty of her music.

However, much of her work remains incomplete due to the challenges of deteriorated tape quality and missing components, such as handwritten lyrics and instrumental arrangements lost in a 1987 fire. The team is committed to preserving every fragment of Annelie’s artistry, but the process is painstakingly slow to ensure the authenticity of each track. This ongoing effort reflects the profound respect for her legacy and the timeless nature of her music.
